Progress of Post Production Work 2 (LO 10)

After recording ADR, we were tried to recording foley and FSX. From week 6 to 9 we focused foley, footsteps, hand writing, ambience, and door sounds. The most hard sound was hand writing sound. We tried many times and used many materials, finally we got right sound with paper scratched by paper cutter and roll up paper with sharp edge. Then we try to record SFX sound. For back ground sound there is frog sound we tried to use Thai traditional toy call carving frog sound.

When we listen sound it was find but after recording that toy’s sound it was not satisfy with us. Finally, we found frog sound and other back ground sound from sound library. Now, week 10 we also finished foley and SFX sound, then we try re-record old man’s sound to get more emotional sound. Therefore, next week which is week 11 we will add back ground music and start mix and mastering. For this semester it was my first time working on post-production work. From these experiences I got many idea’s for professional industries work flow for post production.
